Cesc Fabregas has told Setanta Sports that Arsenal are fortunate to have a striker of the quality of Emmanuel Adebayor.
Adebayor took his seasonal tally to beyond the 30 mark with a hat-trick in Arsenal’s mauling of Derby on Monday.
The Togo star has led the line superbly following Thierry Henry’s departure and he has earned high praise from Fabregas.
"He makes a difference every time he plays, he's a striker who can do everything,” Fabregas told Setanta Sports. “We should feel fortunate to have him."
The win moves The Gunners to within four points of Chelsea and Manchester United with two games remaining and Fabregas is still clinging to a crumb of title hope.
“Nothing is impossible,” said the Spaniard. “We have to win the last two games and then we'll see. We are not the favourites, but you never know."
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is less optimistic about the title heading to The Emirates, with the Frencham admitting it will take divine intervention to secure glory.
"Probable, no. Possible, yes," he told Setanta Sports. "But we would need a miracle. We've set ourselves an 83-point target. We can get to 80 against Everton so let's do it."
