Liverpool striker Fernando Torres says Emmanuel Adebayor's prolific form in front of goal has surprised him. Adebayor and Torres are among the nominees for the PFA Player of the Year award with the prizewinner to be revealed on Sunday. And Torres, who himself has enjoyed a prolific season, admits the Gunners forward has amply filled the gap left by Thierry Henry's departure to Barcelona last summer. In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports magazine, the Spanish international said: "Adebayor has surprised me this season. I knew he was good, but some of the goals he's scored and the skill involved in his play have caught everybody's eye."
