Kolo Toure insists Arsenal will bounce back from their Champions League disappointment, starting with their top-of-the-table clash with Manchester United on Sunday.
The Ivorian says the players’ focus has already switched to getting their Premier League campaign back on track.
"When you lose a game like this [at Anfield], it is difficult to talk about it right away," Toure said on the official club website. "We will get together at the training ground and talk about it.
"Sunday's game against Manchester United is going to be really important for us now. It will be another tight game and we hope to win it.
"We know that The Champions League is over and now we have to look at The Premier League. It is true that it will be hard, but we can still do something. We just need to forget about Liverpool and think about Manchester now.
"We need to show character and to play really well, and give our fans some belief for this season.
"It will be hard if we do not win anything because we were going so well at the start of the season.
"We still have the chance for The Premier League and we will try to take it. We know it is not over - we just have to look at the next game and try to win."
