Jens Lehmann will retain his place in the Arsenal side for the game against Reading on Saturday.
Manuel Almuniahurt his wrist ahead of the trip to Manchester United last Sunday and missed the game. The Spaniard had a fitness test on Friday morning and the news was not positive.
"No he is not available so Jens Lehmann will play," said Arsène Wenger.
The manager has Denilson back after a hamstring problem but will be without Justin Hoyte for a similar reason. Bacary Sagna, Mathieu Flamini (both ankle) and Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) are all still missing.
