Kolo Toure is fearful Arsenal could be knocked out of the Champions League at the preliminary round stage if The Gunners do not finish second in The Premier League.
Claiming second behind Manchester United would bring automatic entry to the group stages of the Champions League and Ivory Coast defender Toure is desperate to continue the fight.
“To finish second and not have to play games before the season in order to qualify for the champions League is what we want,” Toure told Setanta Sports News.
“We know there are some good teams who can take us out if we finish third or fourth.
“We want to finish second so we can go straight through.”
