Arsenal hero Cesc Fabregas has expressed his admiration for Alexander Hleb and the midfielder is hopeful the Belarusian will continue to deliver killer passes for The Gunners.
Marseille’s Samir Nasri is tipped to replace the Belarus international, but Fabregas would rather see the number 13 remain a Gunner ‘for years’.
The Spaniard has hailed Hleb and called his friend an ‘underrated player’.
“I have always said that Hleb is an incredible footballer and what he has done is underrated, well, everything that he DOES, because he is still an Arsenal player,” Fabregas told El Pais.
“That kind of footballer deserves more credit.
“But I tell it to you, he is an incredible footballer.
“I hope we’ll carry on playing together for years.”
