Wenger: Fabregas and Adebayor going nowhere

An adamant Arsene Wenger claims Milan will ‘get the answer they deserve’ if the Rossoneri's public declaration of interest in Emmanuel Adebayor ends with a phone call to the Arsenal manager.

Vice-president Adriano Galliani has made no secret of his side's interest in Adebayor but Wenger has been angered more than once this summer by clubs publicly sounding out his star players.

Wenger is still attempting to fend off interest from Inter and Barcelona in the apparently wantaway Alexander Hleb.

Adebayor has issued statements that are open to interpretation regarding his future, but Wenger insists that the Togo striker is going nowhere.

"Adebayor's under firm contract. If AC Milan are interested they just have to call me and get the answer they deserve," Wenger said.

Wenger also issued assurances regarding the future of Gunners midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Arsenal’s much-admired Spaniard has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid.

"Fabregas will be at Arsenal next season - that looks obvious to me," added Wenger.
