Shaun Custis feels Arsene Wenger's decision to appoint William Gallas as captain is one of the reasons why Arsenal's title bid has faltered. He told The Supplement: "One of the problems Arsenal have had in this part of the season is that there seems to have been a bit of disunity in the ranks. "William Gallas went and sat at the other end of the pitch against Birmingham and a few players didn't like the way he behaved. "There was also the Adebayor bust-up with Bendtner and, again, Wenger said he didn't see it and it was no big deal. "Actually, I think we've seen some real disunity in the ranks at Arsenal for the first time, which is so unlike them. "Usually Wenger's got a handle on this and I wonder if it's because not all the players are respecting Gallas as a captain. Full Article can be read here.
