Jose Reina insists he is hoping he is not called upon to become Liverpool’s penalty hero in Tuesday’s Champions League quarter final clash with Arsenal.
Reina was hoisted on his team-mates' shoulders after Liverpool’s last all-English European showdown, having saved two of Chelsea’s three penalties to send The Reds to the final.
“The important thing in football is to make goals and to win,” said the Spain number two.
"Torres or Gerrard can be the heroes, but I do not want to arrive at a situation like before against West Ham or Chelsea last year.
“I’m not always going to stop three penalties. I do not to think about it ".
