Hleb admits FA charge

Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb has admitted an FA charge of violent conduct following his clash with Reading's Graeme Murty at the weekend.

The Gunners' winger appeared to hit The Royals defender during his side's 2-0 win at Emirates Stadium, and he will now serve a three-game ban.

The Belarusian's suspension will begin with immediate effect, which means he will now miss the rest of his club's season.

The governing body confirmed Hleb’s punishment in an official statement on their website on Wednesday morning, and he will miss The Gunners’ final run-in which takes in a trip to Derby, a visit from Everton and the long ride north to Sunderland on the final day of the season.
